Massimo Tammaro

Massimo Tammaro brings to the stage an extraordinary combination of experiences spanning military aviation, high-performance teams, Formula 1, Human Resources, Enterprise Risk Management and corporate governance.

His professional journey began in the Italian Air Force. He subsequently joined the Frecce Tricolori, Italy’s national aerobatic team, where he served as pilot, Formation Leader and ultimately Commander — a position he describes as comparable to the leadership of a company. In this highly demanding environment, teamwork, trust, communication, preparation and absolute precision are not optional: they are essential to performance.

In 2011, Tammaro moved from aviation to the world of Ferrari, first working as an Executive Consultant with the Formula 1 team and subsequently within Human Resources. He was involved in areas including Corporate Academy and Corporate Culture before creating Ferrari’s Enterprise Risk Management function. He later became Corporate Risk Manager, with responsibilities including Business Continuity and risk management.

This combination of experiences gives Tammaro a particularly valuable perspective for corporate audiences. He understands leadership from the cockpit, people and culture from the HR perspective, performance from Formula 1 and risk from the perspective of corporate strategy and governance.

Today, in addition to his work as an Advisor, Mentor, Executive Coach and Global Speaker, Tammaro is Board Member of Italiana Assicurazioni and a member of the Internal Control and Risk Committee of the Reale Mutua Group. He is also Academic Board Member and Capstone Project Director of the TRIUM Global Executive MBA.
