Luciano Belviso is a founder, aerospace engineer, and systems architect whose career spans certified aircraft, defence systems, and autonomous maritime platforms.

At 25 he founded Blackshape Aircraft in Puglia, where he designed a fully certified aeroplane from first principles. The aircraft went from blank sheet to maiden flight in eight months and achieved full EASA certification eighteen months later — an achievement that set the tone for everything that followed.

Over fifteen years, Blackshape grew into an established manufacturer whose platforms were adopted by armed forces, training organizations, and customers across several countries.
