Valeria Portale is a management engineer, director, at the Milan Polytechnic, of the Mobile Payment & Commerce Observatory who studies innovative payment systems for consumers. Since 2007, with the Mobile Marketing & Service Observatory, she has been dealing with the adoption processes of Mobile Marketing in Italian companies, identifying development prospects such as mobile advertising, mobile promotion, emerging trends. She is an expert in blockchain technologies and virtual currencies and a profound connoisseur of Digital payment, Blockchain & Distributed Ledger. Since 2014 she has been engaged in digital retail innovation. In addition to her activity as a professor at the Polytechnic, Valeria has collaborated with the top management of the main Italian companies active in the digital payment market (Banks, Network Operators on mobile, etc.).
