Luca Solari

Professor Luca Solari is Full Professor of Business Organization, President of the Unimi Foundation (a start-up accelerator) and Director of the Walter Tobago School of Journalism at the University of Milan.

He has taught in France and in the United States and has been in the faculty of the two main MBA programs in English and Italian at the SDA Bocconi and MIP.

Engaged in 2015 by EY MED to create a new organizational change practice, he came out in 2017 to create OrgTech, an innovation-based organizational transformation company. Prof. Solari is unanimously considered a point of reference in the conversation on the transformation of organization and in his examples he ranges between large companies, start-ups and SMEs.

In 2019 the Thinkers360 international platform included his in the Top 20 Global Thought Leaders and influencers list for the Future of Work section.

Luca received his PhD in Business Economics from the Luigi Bocconi Commercial University in 1997 and has been a professor at the University of Milan since 2001, where he held various governance roles and designed and directed the only master’s degree program in Management of Human Resources English taught in Italy.

His research activity focuses on the change of complex systems and on the role of people’s freedom in organizations.
